Jean Eason passed peacefully of all-natural triggers on September 1, 2021, in Greensboro, NC. She was 89.
Jean was born Dorothy Jean Goodner on Could 24, 1932, in Rocky Ford, CO, to Gladys (Jensen) and Theodore Chritton Goodner. Lifted in the compact farm town of Rocky Ford in the Arkansas River valley of southeast Colorado, Jean’s father ran the relatives business, manufacturing and installing agricultural irrigation pumping units. Jean was an excellent large faculty scholar, going on to college at the College of Missouri-Columbia, the place she graduated with an AB in English and Psychology (1954), adopted by an MA in Psychology (1956). There she met, and in 1952, married Robert “Bob” Eason. In 1956, as Bob also acquired his qualified degree, they had a son and the household moved to California, before long settling in San Diego the place their daughter was born two a long time afterwards. Jean went about boosting the family while also getting quite lively in local troubles, ultimately serving as President of the San Diego League of Women of all ages Voters.
In 1967 the Eason family relocated to Greensboro as Bob accepted a college place at UNCG. She is also survived by her brother Ted Goodner (and wife CJ) of Lamar, CO, and various nieces and nephews.
